The lightest hammock, a hardshell with a softer Gore membrane, a ski/climb/move pack, and flexible snowshoes. It may be the winter show, but that doesn't mean Outdoor Retailer is limited to strictly winter gear.
Thanks to Seth's relentless foot-pounding, here are some more gear highlights from the show.
Eagles Nest Outfitters Goes Sub7
North Carolina-based hammock maker Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) may have just created the world's lightest hammock. The Sub7 hammock is made from a sheet of exceptionally light nylon Taffeta ripstop and weighs just 5.7 ounces
Of course, you're going to need a suspension system to go with that hammock, so how about ENO's new Helios suspension system. The tree-friendly Helios features polyester blend tree slings to protect trees from bark loss and a unique Dyneema tensioning system.
Soft Gore Jacket from Dynafit
Part of Dynafit’s freeride line, the 3-layer, waterproof Yotei Jacket features Gore’s new C-KNIT Backer technology, which promises a softer touch alongside greater breathability and lighter weight.

Flexing Feet with TSL Snowshoes
Vermont-based snowshoe manufacturer TSL has introduced a line of highly flexible snowshoe over the past two winters. The Symbioz snowshoes flex on all planes, allowing their crampons to better grasp varying terrain for better traction and performance.
