Ortovox introduced a new line of modular ABS packs, including two women’s specific models, at Outdoor Retailer. The ABS avalanche pack line features a removable airbag system – the M.A.S.S. (modular avalanche safety system), which can be inserted into Ortovox's five new models for optimum floatation and protection in an avalanche.
Ortovox partners with ABS, which has 28 years’ experience and expertise in avalanche safety. The twin-bag system can be added or removed from the packs in just a few minutes. The trigger can be installed for either right or left-handed users and is height and angle adjustable.
Ortovox's Free Rider 24, 26, and 24 women’s packs have new removable SPS PRO back protectors, which provide TÜV certified trauma protection. The Tour ABS models, the Tour 32 + 7 ABS and Tour 30 + 7 women’s, have Vent-O-Flex back systems.
