Cape Scott Hike

I am planing a trip up to Cape Scott, Vancouver Island, BC, around the middle of August. This is my home island. Any helpfull hints would be apreciated. I do have experiance, as well as most of my travel mates. Gear also will not be an issue (unless it fails).

Any one with experiance in this area during the summer would help. Particularly weather or trail condition type. I have read the info on the BC Parks website, as well as a couple of the books about the area. I do plan on buying the lates issue Topo map/s for the area.
