Guyot stainless steel bottles - available

For those who have pre-ordered the sought-after Guyot Designs stainless steel bottles: They are finally shipping as I type this.

These bottles became a very hot item after the Nalgene/Lexan/BPA articles began to hit the air. So hot, in fact, that the manufacturer couldn't supply nearly the amount that were ordered.

These bottles are usable with common filters and replacement lids/accessories and, best of all, are carbon negative!

They look great...but No "Standard" size just yet. I suppose I can wait longer!

Oh? When you attempt to choose either the Standard or the Backpacker it says out of stock and won't let you add to cart, citing "Unavailable Options". MEC also doesn't carry them as of yet.

I Pre-ordered mine over 3 months ago. The ship date was pushed back 3 times. Apparently the entire run from the manufacturer was sold out in pre-order. I guess I should feel lucky.

Re: Guyot stainless steel bottles - available

Received my standard bottles today. They are really nice - very well made. Slightly heavier than a Nalgene, but that's a minor issue. CamelBak lid with valve works great on them. If they become available again, I recommend them as a great replacement for the BPA-laden lexan bottles.
