Sleeping system
Gear Selection Forum
I'm traveling to Yellow stone, Grand canyon, Arches, Bryce and some other national parks around. Mostly will be car camping. There will be one or two overnight camping. I'm trying to collect backcountry camping gear and planning to do more often in the future.
As low budget now, I just get a REI half-dome for 2.
Sleeping bag:
Thinking about to get a fleece liner/bag for this travel. Is it enough to handle yellow stone in Mid-August? If so, I will just get that for now and get another 3-season bag afterwards. Because after the national parks, I will travel around the country by rail for a month. A fleece bag which can be a blanket will be super helpful.
Sleeping pad:
Totally no idea about different technology. I have lower back problem. Is there any advice?
Thank you!!!
